Too Many Priorities? Let's Gain Clarity.

When everything feels important...Nothing becomes a priority.
That's when we start chasing ten goals at once, second-guessing every decision, and ending the day feeling exhausted—While still wondering what we actually accomplished.
That's exactly why clarity matters.
Here's what I've learned after coaching clients through unexpected life transitions, career changes, achieving goals they once thought were impossible, and creating lives that truly align with who they want to be.
Most people haven’t created the life that reflects who they want to be because they lack desire for change. They're stuck because they lack clarity.
Without clarity, everything competes for your attention.
Every option leads you down a rabbit hole of “What if?”
Every decision starts to feel overwhelming.
And eventually...your brain chooses what it was designed to do:
Keep you safe by avoiding the very action that could move you forward... while somehow convincing you you're still being productive.
Why Clarity Changes Everything

Imagine trying to drive somewhere without knowing the destination.
You could have the fastest car.
A full tank of gas.
The best maps App.
But if you never decide where you're going—or actually type the destination — you'll keep driving around without ever arriving where you truly want to be.
Life works the same way.
Many people ask themselves questions like:
What should I do with my life?
Which opportunity is the right one?
How do I know if I'm making the right decision?
The problem is that these questions are often too big to answer all at once.
Instead of searching for the definitive ultimate answer, start by creating enough clarity to take the next right turn.
Because clarity is your personal compass.
It points you toward what matters most.
The decisions become easier.
The next step becomes clearer.
Taking action begins to feel possible.
Those actions create momentum.
And momentum becomes proof that you're capable of more than you once believed.
The First Step of the CLEAR Framework
The first letter in my CLEAR Framework is C—and it stands for Clarity.
Before we build habits...
Before we overcome limiting beliefs...
Before we even start taking action...
We first need to understand what truly matters.
One of my favorite coaching questions is surprisingly simple:
What do you really want?
Not what other people expect.
Not what you "should" want.
What do you really want?
I know. That question sounds easy...
Until you try answering it with clarity.
Let me give you an example of one of my clients that will help paint a clearer picture:

Client Story:
I had a client—we’ll call her Susan—who said she wanted to lose 50 pounds. But when we looked beneath that goal, the number on the scale was not what she truly wanted.
Susan wanted to feel confident when she looked in the mirror.
She wanted enough energy and mobility to get on the floor and play with her grand kids.
She wanted to improve her health and feel reassured that she was doing what she could to be there for her family for years to come.
The 50 pounds was the shiny goal that felt impossible to meet. The deeper goal was confidence, connection, health, and more time with the people she loved. That's when the goal became meaningful.
We then built a simple system that fit her lifestyle to help her meet her goals. It took some tweaking at first—and that's okay. Progress over Perfection! — But now Susan is consistent in choosing her healthy lifestyle and is able to do the things that truly matter (We still keep in touch occasionally to catch up on what's new in her journey). Her daily choices became easier because her “Why” was clear.
Five Questions to Help You Gain Clarity
If you've identified your shiny goal but still haven't been able to reach it, ask yourself these questions.
1. Where am I today?
Be honest.
No judgment.
Just awareness.
2. Where do I want to be?
Describe the destination—not every step.
Take a moment to day dream
What would life look like if things improved in this area?
3. Why is this goal important?
This is where we dive in to give it meaning.
When your reason is strong enough, carries enough weight, and aligns with who you really want to become, taking action becomes easier.
4. What's really standing in my way? (We will dive deeper on this in the next blog post - Don't worry, I got your back - Just name it)
Is it fear?
Perfectionism?
Overthinking?
A limiting belief?
Or simply not knowing where to begin?
Naming the obstacle often reduces its power.
5. What is one small action I can take today?
Not next Monday.
Not tomorrow.
Today... Yeah, I said it... Today.
Progress isn't built through giant perfect leaps. It's built through consistent, meaningful steps.
